I bought the staff for my son .he and his wife go walking. He was delighted with it,so is the dog unfortunately.so it has to be kept up out of reach

Bought for my friend’s 50th birthday, he loves the out doors but has dodgy knees so this should give him the help he needs on difficult terrain. And he has a black lab so it’s just that bit more personal for him.

Recently purchased the Labrador emblem Hiking staff, it was simple to order on the website and the delivery did not take that long. The item is very sturdy and well finished, and the length of the staff is excellent.. I use it every day when walking with my son and his dog.

I walk in the countryside with my dogs all the time and wanted a decent stick to use while doing so. I liked the design of this one as it is quite chunky and easy to hold plus it was cheaper even with the postage included than the exact same thing sold locally in an outdoor store. I bought this as a gift for a friend so I haven't seen it myself. My friend has a labrador and was thrilled with the carving, and said the stick looked very sturdy, so he appears to be happy with it.

the ferrule to have been metal not
plastic so it dropped one star for that season.

Good solid stick. Long enough to be useful both up and down hill and the wrist strap lessens the chance of dropping it. The dual ferrule is both practical and avoids damaging the stick itself. The Labrador carving is a bonus especially enjoyed by my wife! The stick was delivered within two days of ordering so A great product was backed up with great service.

Really well made. Quite often what you send for and what you receive are totally different. This has been professionally made. Its the right height and comfortable to use. I walk a lot with my Labrador, Bailey. It gives me confidence and helps get over/through obstacles. Would recommend to countryside walkers.

I need a walking stick for balance & comfort. This stick fulfils both of those. It is not too heavy and the length is perfect for resting both hands on and staring into the distance. All this taken with a class product and understated engraving gives a 'feel good' feeling. I may well buy the stag one next year
