Height-Adjustable Shaft

When picking a walking stick, it's crucial to find one that suits your height perfectly, as this ensures maximum comfort and correct posture during use. To make selecting the right one easier for you, the Short Folding Morris Anatomical Walking Stick can be adjusted in height between 28" (71cm) and 32" (81.5cm).

Folds into Four Sections

If you only need the extra help with walking occasionally, or if you spend a lot of time on the road, a folding walking stick can turn out to be just what you need. The Morris Anatomical Walking Stick can easily be folded into four sections, which makes it easy to tuck away in a bag when it's not needed, or bring with you in your luggage wherever you go.

Extra Comfortable Anatomical Handle

The anatomical handle is the right choice for anyone with painful or sensitive hands, but is especially perfect for arthritis and rheumatism sufferers with smaller hands. Due to its ergonomic shape, it is designed specifically for either the left or the right hand, so please select the side you require from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.

What is the Maximum User Weight?

The maximum user weight of this anatomical walking stick is 110kg (17st 4lbs).

It has also been tested for a maximum compression weight of 160kg (25 stone). This is to accommodate users leaning on the stick to varying degrees. For example someone needing a lot of support might lean much harder on the stick than someone needing a little extra support.

What is VAT relief?

Claiming VAT relief - at checkout

2) Select VAT relief from the basket

Once you're happy you have everything you need, you can proceed to the shopping basket. Here, underneath each product that is eligible for VAT relief, you will find a checkbox that you must select to claim VAT relief (please see the screenshot of the shopping basket below). Once this box has been ticked, the VAT will automatically be removed from this item.

Please note, if you're buying multiple items you'll need to tick EACH checkbox for each item. If a product does not have a checkbox, it's currently not eligible for VAT relief.

3) Complete our VAT relief Form during checkout

Once you've selected your items and confirmed that you would like VAT relief, you can continue to the checkout. After entering your personal and delivery details, you will then be directed to a page featuring a form to complete in order to claim VAT relief. Once this form is completed, simply continue to the payment page and place your order.

Claiming VAT relief - after placing your order

If you've placed an order without claiming VAT relief during the checkout process, you're still able to make the claim afterwards. To do this, please fill in the VAT exemption form found here.

Who can claim relief from VAT?

If you're disabled or have a chronic medical condition, you're eligible to claim relief from VAT. There's no need to register with HM Revenue and Customs. Simply fill in the VAT relief form and send it to us.

Can I claim VAT relief on behalf of someone else?

Yes, however the person you're claiming on behalf of must be disabled or have a chronic medical condition in accordance with the guidance notes available on the HM Revenue and Customs website. When claiming on behalf of another, please state your name and phone number along with the name of the person you are claiming for.

UK delivery is FREE for orders of £40 and over. For orders below this threshold, delivery will cost a flat fee of £4.95 (including VAT).

We use the Royal Mail postal service - as well as other trusted couriers - to deliver our items. This means you'll receive your order as quickly as possible by a trusted delivery provider. We deliver within the UK only. Unfortunately, due to restrictions with our couriers, we are unable to ship items outside of the UK. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.

When will my order be dispatched?

We're focused on ensuring you receive your item as quickly as possible and the majority of orders placed before 2:00pm (excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays) are dispatched the same day by Royal Mail post or courier.

Returns Information

30 days returns policy for peace of mind

Most products on the website have a 30 days returns policy. This means that you have 30 days from the day you receive your order to inform us if you'd like to return an item that's unsuitable.

Before returning any item, please contact our team by email at helpdesk@walkingsticks.co.uk or by telephone on 020 7501 0591. We'll then provide you with a returns authorisation number and full details of how and where to return your item(s). This returns number helps us process your return as quickly as possible. Items returned without a returns number may take longer to process.

Unwanted or unsuitable item exchanges and refunds

We want you to be happy every time you shop with us, but sometimes a product might not be what you were expecting or just isn't right. You may wish to return your product for an exchange or a refund. That's no problem at all, but first we need to give you a returns authorisation number. This helps us process your return as quickly as possible. Without this number, it may be more difficult to process your return.

This is exactly what I wanted in a walking stick perfect height for me and really comfortable handle - I was issued with an NHS stick which although adequate was cumbersome so like the folding aspect of this is ideal

The product is good, smart and fulfills its function well. Only one disappointment and that is the folded length, which isn't mentioned in the description. I was planning to carry it in my (rather large) handbag for emergency use, but the top section is so long, without a joint, that it is impossible.

I ordered this walking stick very short notice and was very happy that delivery was really quick and I got it in time for our little break away which enabled me to enjoy my long walks out with my family, the handle made it very comfortable to use, lightweight but sturdy, really pretty pattern and easily folded with clip to keep together for a really good price x

My Mother of 97 years resisted having a walking stick until now but found the anatomical handle particularly good for her hand and the attractive appearance of the stick has meant that she is now happily using it and much more balanced in her walking. Delivery was first class.

Bought this for my MS Ataxia balance problems as experienced issues with not being in control when walking ! Am 5ft 2 and very comfortable and fashion friendly! Amazing that prior to stick and with new virus rules people were rude to me walking towards them ! Something I have no control on!! With the stick I get a completely different response so feel happy and love my stick ! Only problem is my neuro physio advised that I should get left handed one as I fall to left !! Silly me being right handed thought a right hand one was correct! So am waiting for left handed stick to arrive any day now 😊 ordered in the other pattern ! 👍

After my trusty folding stick got damaged, I hunted for a replacement which I hoped would fulfil my needs. I wanted a folding stick, which would be colourful, suit my short stature (4' 11 ish!) and have a comfy ergonomic handle. At last I found one at walkingsticks.com. Ordered on a Tuesday evening, was emailed Wednesday that stick was on its way, the stick arrived Thursday!
I am delighted with it and have actually had to adjust it to slightly longer than its arrival length, so it would be very suitable for someone even shorter than me! I did find initially that the stick kept slipping down from my preferred length while I was out walking, but I enlisted the help of my husband to really tighten the screw, (my arthritic hands!) and all is now good. I go on holiday shortly and am very happy to have my new confidence boosting stick with me - there’ll be no stopping me now! Great to have the (good length) wrist strap and pouch, too. Thank you for a lovely stick and such great service!
