The canopy exhibits John Henry Dearle's 1895 design, 'Compton', and is made of durable polyester fabric and 96cm wide to provide reliable protection from the rain. The frame is made from an aluminium and fibreglass combination to stand up to heavy winds and the whole umbrella conveniently compacts down to a 25cm length for on-the-go use.
