Strong, lightweight and comfortable to use. I wouldn’t think of buying anything else. This is my fifth carbon fibre walking stick. They are all still in use, but the oldest are a bit scuffed and tatty looking, so I mostly use them in the garden.

I first got this model of walking stick six months ago, it has proved to be just perfect. It is light-weight but sturdy and very comfortable to use. Being able to order the precise size is also a bonus. I had a carbon fibre stick some time ago but the surface chipped or marked very easily, not so with this model which has proved completely durable and still looks entirely as new. I now need a second aid and there was no hesitation, I was straight back to buying this one again.

We purchased this for my Mother. She finds this stick extremely comfortable (due to the handle design), light and elegant to look at. We have purchased walking sticks for her in the past, which she refused to use. She like this one. The ability to order different lengths is excellent. I suggest that you put a measurement guide on the website to assist first time purchasers.

Brought this stick for my fiance (age 25)
He has a permanently damaged knee so sometimes requires support and this stick is very sleek, strong yet so light! He isn't embarrassed using it because it looks so nice 10/10

I bought this stick because my wooden one was too heavy, transmitted a lot of vibration through my wrist, and had a slippery hand grip. The Derby Handle Black Diamond Carbon Fibre Walking Stick has very nice grip in the hand, is very light, and has a reasonable amount of vibration damping from the ferrell. It looks nice too.
Unfortunately I noticed the rubber finish on the handle marks easily in normal use, and has started to wear away after just two weeks of use. Besides the fragility of the grip the stick performs really well. It would be nice if the stick was provided with a replacement ferrell for the money.

Good points, very light and strong, nice balance in the hand
Bad points, the handle was rather slim, more for a lady's grip than a man and the end of the handle was very pointed and uncomfortable.
I solved these problems by putting a tennis racket adhesive grip on it. This softened the handle and smoothed out the sharp point. I was rather disappointed about the handle really

After contacting Customer Services about the suitability of other walking sticks, I choose this one because of its comfortable soft grip handle and I was able to order the shorter length that I needed. My order arrived the day after its despatch and it has surpassed my expectations.

As a reluctant walking stick user, I can honestly say it is a pleasure to use, being light and comfortable to hold, it has definitely taken a lot of the strain off my painful hip. I would not hesitate to recommend either this walking stick, or WalkingSticks.co.uk, who were very helpful and speedy in all correspondence.

Quick and efficient service, quick delivery and VAT refunded quickly. I’ve used a stick for many years and would have liked to have got this stick sooner. It looks good, is comfortable in the hand and so light. I am now going to order a folding stick for traveling. I can certainly recommend this product and company.
